Capturing the love and warmth of a family is always a joy, but this particular photoshoot with Hoda, Marcus, and their 10-week-old daughter Lucia was truly special. It was a session filled with tender moments, quiet snuggles, and joyful play—each frame telling the beautiful story of their new journey as a family of three.
Lucia’s first photoshoot was carefully planned to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone. We scheduled the session for two hours, allowing plenty of time to capture Lucia both asleep and awake. As any newborn parent knows, timing is everything! We made sure to incorporate breaks for feeding and play, ensuring she was comfortable throughout. One particularly sweet moment was when Lucia enjoyed a warm bath before being wrapped in the softest blanket, completely content in her parents’ loving arms.
A well-planned newborn session makes all the difference in creating a stress-free environment. Hoda and Marcus were fantastic in preparing for the shoot. We discussed outfits in advance, selecting soft, neutral tones that complemented their warm and cozy home setting. I also put together a list of references and ideas, allowing us to stay inspired while still letting natural moments unfold.
By planning ahead, we ensured that everyone—especially little Lucia—felt at ease. The result? A collection of heartfelt images that truly reflect the love and connection within their family.
